Ceramic Coating

We are certified installers for CeramicPro, the industry leader in nanoceramic coatings. Before a ceramic coating can be applied to a vehicle there are necessary steps that must be taken to promote the best physical and chemical bond is made between the coating and your vehicle's clear coat. These steps include a fallout remover to dissolve brake dust, iron deposits, surface rust, and road grime on your paint, some of it so microscopic that you can't see or even feel it, but is enough of an inhibitor to stop a coating from bonding. The paint will also get a clay bar treatment to remove other physical contaminants, plus at minimum a 2-step paint correction (compound then polish) to level the clear coat for maximum adherence. To get to this point before the coating is even taken out of the package can take at least 10 hours. The ceramic coating then gets applied to the paint under special lighting at our shop where we keep a sharp eye on the surfaces as it cures. Our shop is climate controlled to ensure consistent flash and curing times for our ceramic coating projects by maintaining the same temperature and humidity across all jobs when coatings are applied. The purpose of a ceramic coating is to add an extra layer of protection on top of your paint similar to a body armor. Ceramic coatings have a higher hardness rating than factory clear coats which increases resistance to scratches, and scuffs, plus protection from bird turds and tree sap. Other benefits include a very slick feel to the touch, high water repellency keeping your car cleaner for longer between washes, easier cleaning, and superior UV protection preventing paint from fading in our Florida sun. With proper care our coating will give either 5 years of protection, or lifetime protection for your vehicles paint. This is also a service we can offer for boats and yachts, along with ornamental statues and commercial equipment.
